2020年9月28日から10月2日にかけてスペインのコルドバにて第12回LEEM/PEEM国際会議が開催されます。最初の案内が参りました。動的顕微手段を使用した種々な情報が得られる表面観察手法として個々の研究室や放射光施設で広く使用されています。現在もレーザ光を使用した種々の新しい手法や時間分解測定等に新たな発展が期待されています。会議を行うコルドバは観光地としても大変魅力的な町です。日本でも2006年に姫路で盛況のうちに開催した会議です。ぜひ多くの方々の論文投稿と参加を期待いたしております。

We are delighted to launch the webpage for the upcoming LEEM PEEM 12 international conference to be held in Córdoba (Spain), September 28th to October 2nd, 2020:https://leempeem12.secv.es/

LEEM-PEEM is a biennial meeting reviewing the status of surface microscopies that employ low energy electrons. The meeting promotes and disseminates applications of surface microscopies such as LEEM, PEEM, and related techniques to a broad audience of interested scientists.

The workshop highlights the most recent scientific advances as well as instrumental developments. Topics will cover surfaces, thin films, organic films, surface chemistry, magnetism, time resolved methods, instrumental advances and novel applications of LEEM and PEEM to other subject areas.

Distinguished guest lecturers from related topical and technical fields will broaden our horizons and encourage new collaborations.

So, do not miss the opportunity to contribute to the main exchange forum for our community (or to initiate contact if you are new to the field) in a fantastic world heritage city.
