　今年秋に開催を予定していた第12回LEEM/PEEM国際会議が以下のようにコロナのために延期になりました。延期後は来年（2021年）9月27日ー10月1日に同じ場所であるスペインのコルドバで開催されます。また、今年の9月には学生やポスドクを対象にした小規模のバーチャルポスターセッションを開催するとともにチュートリアルの開催も予定されています。今年9月のバーチャル会議には無料で参加できます。詳細はまた連絡があると思います。

Dear colleagues,

Finally, the LEEMPEEM12 Organizing Committee and the LEEMPEEM International Advisory Board have agreed not to hold LEEMPEEM12 in Córdoba (Spain) in September 2020 as originally planned.

The tentative plan is to postpone the conference to September 27th - October 1st 2021 in Córdoba. We will follow closely the evolution of the situation, including new outbreaks, travel restrictions and of course health recommendations, in order to confirm these new dates by the end of 2020.

However, we will profit that many have already saved the date to hold a virtual get-together of the community, especially the early stage researchers, in September 2020. The planned tutorials will take place including exciting hands-on examples, as well as a small virtual poster session for students and young postdocs to present their results.

Stay tuned for the details of the registration to this pre-conference event, which will be free of charge, as well as for the poster abstract submission.

We hope many of you will join!

We would like to thank everyone of you for your interest in LEEMPEEM12 and for your patience in these exceptional times. We will miss seeing you in person this year and already look forward to the whole community coming together in 2021.
